Description
Do you transport Dangerous Goods, are your employees involved in the loading, unloading, packing, marking, labelling or creation of transport documents? Then they will require function specific training.
Join this two-hour introductory session on the transport of dangerous goods awareness training where we will introduce delegates to;
- The regulations
- The nine hazard classes
- UN number, proper shipping name, packing groups
- Obligations
- Exemptions
- Limited quantities
- Small load exemption (ADR 1.1.3.6)
- ADR and CDG relaxations
- Retail distribution by road
- Packaging requirements
- Marking and labelling
- Documentation
- Loading, unloading
- Handling and stowage
- Reporting of dangerous goods incidents
The aims of the training are;
- To introduce the dangerous goods regulations
- To help you to identify the dangers
All persons working with UN classified dangerous goods must have dangerous goods awareness training. This is a legal requirement.
This session focusses mainly on the road regulations, with references to some of the differences between the modes.
More detailed training can be arranged if members have an interest in particular areas of the dangerous goods regulations.
