The winner of this category will be, in the view of the judges, the company or organisation that has developed and delivered a successful project that has positively impacted manufacturing, product design or performance, waste management, or other related activities, with ground-breaking solutions, game-changing innovations, and positive impact on the business landscape. The project has to demonstrate commercial success and potential to scale and must have already been implemented in practice (i.e. it should be beyond the research stage).

CATEGORY

The judges will be looking for a novel ideas that have been imaginatively implemented for commercial success and the benefit of the adhesives and sealants Industry.

The innovation activity can be in any area of a business related to the adhesives and sealants sector; this can include, for example, research and development, technology or operations. Judges will assess the business benefits of the innovation, exploitation potential, novelty value, benefit to the company, and contribution towards sustainable development.

In addition to your written submission, we encourage you to include any supporting material, pictures, and testimonials that you believe will help the judges.

You should also include an 800-character summary and high quality company logo (for publicity material).

JUDGING

Judges will be looking for evidence of:

• Innovative manufacturing process and/or use of innovative new raw materials. (20%)
• Usability and application innovation or novel application and delivery. (20%)
  
• Significant or truly original performance innovation. (20%)
  
• Novel product protection or added value to the brand. (10%)
• Supply chain efficiency or recyclability of the product packaging. (10%)
• Environmental impact, reduced waste or reduced material use. (20%)
