Join us for the highly anticipated BASA Sports Day 2026, a day of friendly competition and networking at Hawkstone Park and the West Midlands Shooting Ground. Open to all skill levels, this event offers a variety of sporting challenges, followed by a relaxed evening of dining and awards.

Enjoy a full day of golf, starting with a Texas Scramble (9 holes) on the Championship Course in the morning, followed by the Glue Pot Trophy (18 holes) on the Hawkstone Course in the afternoon. Additional competitions include Nearest the Pin (12th hole) and Longest Drive (18th hole).

  • Morning Registration: 08:30 with tea, coffee & bacon sandwiches in Lyle’s Bar
  • Afternoon Registration: 11:30, lunch available from 12:00-13:00
  • First tee times: 09:00 (morning) & 12:40 (afternoon)

Players must bring their own equipment. Golf buggies are available for hire (pre-booking required). Call 01948 841775 to reserve.

Take aim at a range of shooting challenges at the West Midlands Shooting Ground, including:

  • Morning: Air Rifle, .22 Rifle, Multi-Calibre
  • Afternoon: The 50-Bird Glue Gun Trophy, concluding with a thrilling 2-Man Flush
  • Morning Registration: 09:15 with tea, coffee & bacon sandwiches
  • Shooting starts: 10:00 (morning) & 13:00 (afternoon)
  • Lunch: Served at 12:00 for all registered participants

All safety training, tuition, and equipment are provided.

🏑 Croquet – Sponsored by Omya UK Ltd

After an action-packed day, unwind with a friendly croquet match on the lawn at Hawkstone Park Hotel (near the bar). The tournament begins at 16:30, with the draw announced on the day, please let us know when booking if you would like to join this free game. Afternoon golfers will not be back in time for the start of the croquet, but do please come and join us in the terrrace bar which overlooks the croquet to see the final matches.

🍽 Dinner & Awards Presentation

The day concludes with a Dinner & Awards Presentation at Hawkstone Park Hotel in the Waterloo Suite. The evening begins with a cash bar from 16:30, followed by dinner at 20:00. Prizes will be awarded after dinner at approximately 22:00. Dress code: Smart casual.
